SYSTEM SAFETY AND SECURITY
CryptHawk has been designed with safety and security in mind. ARM Cortex M7 CPU provides more power and is a significant step into entering safety-critical markets. CryptHawk fully utilizes CAN and CANOpen enabled electronic speed control units in order to build robust, efficient and more intelligent autonomous vehicles. Though the hardware and software can be used for various types of vehicles its primary goal is to power UAVs with the available sensors and design targeting this area. The next CryptHawk major goal is to ensure that firmware, data and communication are fully secure that significantly improves the reliability of the UAVs and expands their application area.
We believe that true safety and security can only be built upon a complete trust so the hardware platform, firmware and all extensions are open.
MORE THAN A CONTROL UNIT
CryptHawk is more than a versatile and powerful autonomous vehicle control unit. It includes a highly sophisticated, yet very easy to use control and configuration software for Windows, Linux and Android. CryptHawk comes with support for different communication protocols that make it ready to carry out data acquisition and processing tasks.
It features the original Pixhawk form factor. There is additional CAN connector on the top side, which can be used for enhanced ESCs with CAN feedback.
